The Galway Cup is now regarded as one of the leading underage tournaments in Europe. Played in NFP Park on immaculately manicured pitches, teams are provided with the stage to showcase their talents to coaches, scouts and an appreciative audience.

The tournament has Four age groups under Six sections:
2014 Boys - ( 11 v 11 ) Boys born after 1st January 2014
2013 Girls Elite - ( 11 v 11 ) Girls born after 1st January 2013
2013 Girls Club - ( 11 v 11 ) Girls born after 1st January 2013
2013 Elite - ( 11 v 11 ) Boys born after 1st January 2013
2013 Club - ( 11 v 11 ) Boys born after 1st January 2013
2012 Super Elite - ( 11 v 11 ) Boys born after 1st January 2012
